It’s asked flippantly, almost in the manner their partner normally interacts with them— free, compassionate with just a hint of humor— which almost makes it something that was completely ignored, something that they’d allow themself to ponder over later, but the touch of genuine exasperation causes them to raise their dark brown gaze to honey brown. Bafflement etched across a normally serene face only adds to the growing puzzle that is their partner.
“I don’t see what?” They settle back in their seat, interlacing their fingers together underneath their chin. “We solve mysteries for a living, Shaw. I’d appreciate it if there wasn’t any between the two of us.”
Shaw snorts. “You really think I’m gonna just give you the answer, Cass?” They shake their head, popping another fry into their mouth. “I’m just going to watch the show that’s about to unfold in front of me. I think it’ll be mighty interesting.”
They roll their eyes, settling their gaze back onto their own meal. “You do that, Shaw.”

I wonder how fish color up maybe I'll hyperfixate tonight
Okay so in the most basic terms it seems that reef fish colors tend to be from pigmented cells rather than any sort of structure. Which makes sense given how colorful coral is.
There's also a lot of debate on how exactly fish perceive color in reefs cause while we can study what rods and cones animals have, there's no guarantee our conception of it is accurate. Night animals tend to have bad color vision and instead focus on low light detection. Making this sound like rpg stats/skills LMAO
‘Bout the same usable width, too. Those luxotruk beds tend to have big fat wheel hubs in them. Kei truck beds are completely flat.
