PLEASE NOTE: I would really appreciate it if this post wasn’t hijacked for Sera hate. If you would like to write your own analysis of this scene all about how Sera is an awful person, please just make your own post. (But talking about how much better handled this scene could be while not demonizing her is more than welcome, as I will be doing that myself.)

TL;DR: As even admitted by Sera herself later in Trespasser, this all isn’t really about Lavellan, or the Dalish, or Mythal. It’s about Sera feeling like shit because she’s not ‘elfy’ like her girlfriend, and about her struggling with her beliefs.
